Your Bill Of Rights



You have the right to be you

You have the right to put yourself and your family first

You have the right to be safe in your home from intrusions and people from impersonating or pretending to be police officers

You have the right to expect the police to document and investigate a crime scene when you believe a crime has been committed and you ask that a report be filled out, before the scene is contaminated.


You have the right to be accurately quoted in a police report.


You have the right to be treated with respect and to be human - not perfect


You have the right to expect the agency in charge of protecting our elders (DCF) to act to protect our loved ones when properly notified that their lives is in imminent danger(Before serious injury comes to our loved ones.)

You have the right to be angry and protest if the neglect of others causes you or your loved ones suffering, injury and or death.


You have the right to your own privacy and you have the right to protest when false complaints are filed against you. And you have the right to be informed as to the results of any investigation.


You have the right to protest and to be heard when a loved one's identity is stolen and used to for the advancement of a personal cause, when you know that person has Alzheimer's ,Dementia, is in the hospital or in a nursing home and incapable of protecting themself..


You Have the right to live your life free of harrasment and repeated investigations due to false reports filed by the same person(s), it is the foundation of our legal system that you don't get endless chances year after year to continually investigate someone just because some is filing false reports for the purpose of :



(a) Harassing, embarrassing, or harming another person;


(b) Personal financial gain for the reporting person;(c) Acquiring custody of a vulnerable adult; or (d) Personal benefit for the reporting person in any other private dispute involving a vulnerable adult.


You have a right to take care of your own, free of un-reasonable government interference

You have the right to your own opinions, to express them, and be taken seriously

You have the right to expect laws to be enforced equally across the board


You have the right to ask questions about anything that affects your life

You have the right to make decisions that affect you, your family and loved ones entrusted in your care

You have the right to grow and change, this includes changing your mind

You have the right to say no

You have the right to not be liked by everyone

You have the right to control your own life and to change it if you are not happy with it as it is
