An America in Denial

"(He) served his country, West Point grad, Duke master's degree, solid business guy," Castillo said. Castillo is shocked Scott was shot and killed by Metro Police Saturday afternoon. Everybody was in disbelief as to what the heck could have happened and why," Castillos said."(He) served his country, West Point grad, Duke master's degree, solid business guy," Castillo said. "It was very, very hard to believe. Everybody was in disbelief as to what the heck could have happened and why," Castillos said.

Editor's note:
If there is one thing in common with all the letters I get from readers is that they all start with "I din't think this could happen in America" at least not until their parents are put away to die in seclusion or from overmedication and neglect under a forced guardianship program with less rights than a common criminal.

Now that the malaise is spreading to the general population it is still interesting to note how reactions range from "disbelief" to the "I din't think It could happen here!"
